Reliable Window Tint

Got here around 11 for window tint all around, my car has only 4 windows. Wait time is ridiculous, i know it takes time but after 2 full hours of waiting, we were told 30 more minutes by one guy, and another guy explained he’s the only one able to do my back window that’s why it’s taking so long…. it in fact was not 30 more minutes. They continue to pull cars in and work on those still while not finishing the cars that have been here for 3 hours……it’s frustrating wondering why my car can’t be finished in a timely manner while watching everyone else get their car worked on as well wondering what work is actually being done considering i’ve sat here for 3 hours. The employees seem to be more focused on having a good time with friends and speaking to the females rather than actually getting some kind of work done. A car that came AFTER me and had 5 windows(one more window to tint than me) PLUS added on the windshield last minute was done before my car. Then when i asked again how long, they just began the back windshield…….Horrible customer service they treat you like they don’t care how long you have to wait they get to it when they get to it & if that means taking phone calls, giggl

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I took my 3-day old 2026 RSQ8 to get the front windows tinted. The install was the worst I have ever seen, the customer service is awful, the waiting area looks like it has not been cleaned in a while and most importantly, they did not provide the service I paid for. The installer kept trying to argue and rage bait me once I expressed my disappointment with the job. Awful experience! I could not pay and leave this place fast enough. If you want a bad tint job, get cursed out and spoken to disrespectly, and waste your money, then this is your place. After I left, the manager called, apologized and said he would refund my money. Of course, that never happened. Then he later texted asking me to come back for a free of charge correction. Now why would I do that? Because I was treated so lovely the first time? Hard pass my boy! I found a reputable place to undo the cheap horrible tint the next day and have moved on with my life after the colossal drain of my time dealing with this place caused me.

I’ve been bringing my car to Reliable Auto Tint since 2016 when I got my first car, and I’m writing this review to give them five stars all around. The work is consistently excellent and so is the customer service. It’s a small shop, but these guys know exactly what they’re doing and they execute. This time, BJ was extra helpful. I’m not sure if he was there when I first started coming, but he deserves a shout-out. What sets this place apart is that they stand behind their work. If something isn’t right, they handle removal and correction without making it a hassle. They’re also easy to schedule with, usually available within an hour or two if you call ahead. I trust them to the point where I bring everybody’s car here, my mom’s car included, and I send my friends too. Somebody asks me about tint, this is where I send them, period. I don’t care where you are. They’re 45 minutes from me and I have shops right next to my house… guess what I drive here every time. They also do wraps, car audio, and some electrical work. If you need any of this done right, this is the place.

Efficient and professional from start to finish. The entire tinting process took about an hour, which I really appreciated. They were open on Sunday (huge plus), and everyone was courteous and welcoming without being overbearing. The owner was present and attentive, which I always value. Quality work at a reasonable rate—I couldn’t ask for more.

Update 3/28/2025 - Still the #1 tint shop in the DMV. I arrived just after opening (10a) and was tinted and driving away by 10:30a. I have used this location for almost 10yrs and multiple vehicles and have never had to use the lifetime warranty - but, they do have it. Always a professional job. Pricing is fair. There are many competitors to consider, but Reliable is my #1. Note - I just read another review where Reliable wrapped a casket (NY style) - WOW! That's exactly what I mean when I say these guys are great. 2020 - Best tint shop in the DMV - hands down. Quality, pricing, knowledge of local state laws, and great customer service are all undeniable with this crew. Also, I was in and out within an hour. I've had four vehicles tinted here over the past 5 years and they will continue to get my business. They live up to the simple name - "Reliable Window Tint". No doubt.
